1. Do you think people often travel when they have a few days off?

I’d say it depends on each individual’s personality and interests. Some introverts prefer to curl up in the blankets and read books rather than go out and explore nature during their free time. Extroverts, on the other hand, would use their free time to discover unfamiliar places and make new friends. I also think that the elderly and the younger generation enjoy their time differently. Older people tend to spend as much time as possible with their families at home. Meanwhile, a short trip with friends seems to be the most popular way for youth to unwind if they have days off.

2. Why do some people prefer to travel abroad rather than in their own country?

Hmm it’s true that sometimes foreign adventures are more appealing than domestic travel. Additionally, traveling abroad provides an opportunity to learn new languages and understand a range of customs. As a result, travelers can gain new perspectives on life.

3. Do you think traveling to another country can change the way people think?

The experience of traveling abroad can change a person’s mindset because it exposes them to different cultures and perspectives that challenge their beliefs and assumptions. As an example, someone who has visited another country may be more tolerant and open-minded than someone who has never left their hometown.

4. Do you think it is good for children to experience life in a foreign country?

I reckon most children benefit greatly from living overseas. One reason is that it allows them to learn about the new country’s culture and language. As they adjust to their new environment, they will also improve their independence and confidence. My experience is that students who study abroad for a certain amount of time tend to become more resilient and better at public speaking.

5. How have holidays changed over the past few decades?

As far as I can tell, people used to spend their holidays in traditional beach resorts. However, more and more tourists are choosing to take on adventurous camping trips. This change is probably because of their desire to avoid sedentary lifestyles. Another explanation is that most hotels and resorts offer similar facilities and designs. In this way, they seem too generic to satisfy and attract travelers who are curious.

6. Do you think it is safer to travel now than in the past?

I would say so. Travel has become hassle-free in the past couple of decades. Airplanes, trains, and other modes of transportation seem more secure because safety protocols have been implemented to ensure travelers are safe and comfortable. Also, security measures such as metal detectors, baggage scanners, and surveillance systems have been put in place to prevent any potential terrorist threats. Additionally, thanks to technological advancements, travellers can take advantage of online maps to avoid getting lost.
