If my memory serves me correctly, it ‘s about a couple of years ago. When I was a senior at university, at that time I was up to the ears with the revision. I left stressed because I was in midle of the final. So I needed to let my hair down. Finally I decided to have a trip with my parents. We chose Paris as our holiday destination. It is a very popular tourist destination, since it has various places of interest, such as ancient museums and monuments. This country also has old-time religious traditions…

That’s why they have a lot of ancient cathedrals and churches that are interesting for both tourists and local citizens. So we decided to go out of season in the autumn. Fortunately, the weather was great, and we did not waste any days watching TV at the hotel. It was amazing because u know Paris acquires the reputaion for the best romance city with its landmarks and its cuisines. It was a memorable holiday, we enjoyed breathtaking views from the top of the Eiffel tower and dined in cozy little restaurants.

Also, we did some sightseeing and paid a visit for the historical relics and beautiful spots. I snap many photos and posted them on my Fb to bookmark my travel experience with my family. I would certainly recommend visiting Paris, it is a picturesque city. It is the appropriate holiday destination to boarden our mind and get away from the stressful life. That’s why there are always hordes of tourists.

• Describe a short trip that you frequently make (or, take) but dislike

– Every Sunday, I like to go to a nearby temple, Golden Temple which is located in the first district of Hcm city. Whenever I get free time during weekend, I like to visit here because this is one of the sacred holy places of worshiping the almighty.

The tour to Golden Temple always gives me a peace of mind and refreshes my thoughts like anything. I always visit this historical relics along with my family but sometimes with my besties. By looking at the whitish temple in the centre of pond with golden plating at the top is a mesmerising experience for me. Apart from this, sitting inside the temple and listening to sacred hymns relieves me from all the stresses and worries in my life, while the food served at the community hall inside the temple brings satisfaction to my mind.

I like a lot to visit this place of historical importance as it provides me immense (= huge) inner happiness spiritually and psychologically that strengthens me from inside to face the hardships (= difficulties)of life.

-Every year, I like to go to my hometown with my family. It is Da Nang. DN is a coastal city in the central VN. It is a two-hour flight from Hcm city. It acquires the reputation for its landmarks, its cuisines and beaches. For example, MK is one of the most beautiful beaches not only in VN but also in the world. DN has many places of interest and breathtaking views. I would certainly recommend visiting DN, , it is a picturesque city. It is really a ideal holiday destination. Everything is perfect with me except for one thing that I always had to go to a nearby temple, Golden Temple which is located in the outskirt of the city.

Whenever I and my family go to DN, my parents like to visist here because this is one of the sacred holy places of worshiping the almighty. On the grounds that our short trip is just during for 3-4 days, so I want to spend this quality time on doing some sightseeing and pay a visit for beautiful spots instead of sitting inside the temple and listening to sacred hymns. It brought me boring and tired feeling. Rather than going to the same place every year, it would be more interesting if we go off the beaten track to exploit and enjoy the pristine beauty. Furthermore, spending more time on widening horizon and enjoying local delicacies such as grilled chicken. On top of that, going in for a swim and lying on the white sandy beach to sunbathe also are my favorite activities here.

But Paris had not been on our list because we didn’t have enough time to travel all the Europe countries. We just planed to go 3 countries including : … on the other hand, Paris is quite far from these nations so we didn’t put it on our to-travelling list. However, my sister was very keen on Paris a long time ago on the grounds that you know Paris acquires the reputaion for the best romance city with its landmarks and its cuisines.
