Bài mẫu IELTS Writing Task 1 – Bar Graph

The chart shows the proportion of people in a UK survey carried out in three different years who said they were interested in certain sports.

The bar chart compares the percentage of British being found of different kinds of sport in three separate years (1995, 2000 and 2005).

Overall, it is clear that walking was the most favorite sport in UK over the period shown. In addition, the interest of Uk people in walking, swimming and rugby increased over that time, but opposite was true for snooker, tennis and golf. 

Regarding the chart, in 1995, over 40% of survey participants said they liked walking, compared to around 30% choosing snooker and tennis. On the other hand, golf was the least common choice at that time, which was selected by only about 17%.

After 10 years, the proportion of British people who were interested in walking gradually increased to around 45% and was still highest. Despite of some fluctuations in 2000, the firgure for swimming and rugby climb to an equal proportion, at around 27% in 2005. In contrast, snooker and tennis were chosen by a lower percentage, at nearly 23%, and playing golf still attracted the lowest percentage of UK people, at 16% in 2005.
